With the advent of the new rules embodied in GASB Statement No. 87, Leases, agencies are faced with new accounting and reporting complexities. This session provides a comprehensive understanding of lease accounting, compliance requirements, and disclosure guidelines. Participants will walk-through the accounting entries, as well as disclosure information needed to report whether using a third-party software system or an internal tracking system.
